I covered cute little clothes pins with paper {Actually, pages of a vintage book} to use to
hang the vintage valentines for my Valentines Day Party.
You could do this with any type of paper....it makes clothes pins too cute!
You will need:
Wooden clothes pins
Elmer's Glue
Paper {or in this case, a vintage book purchased at the Thrift Store for $1}
A pencil
Photography by Lyndsey Fagerlund Imagery.
First- Open up the book and trace around a clothes pin with a pencil...
Second- Cut out the clothes pin shape and squeeze a thin line of Elmer's glue onto the clothes pin...
Third- Glue the paper onto the clothes pin {lining it up precisely} and squeeze another thin line of Elmer's glue on top of the paper...
Fourth- Using your finger, rub the glue all over the clothes pin...
Fifth- Rub the glue into the paper until it's nice and smooth, then let dry {it's okay if it's a little milky while wet, it will dry clear}. If you would like to roughen up the edges a little take a little piece of sand paper and run it across the edges until you get your desired distressed look...
So fun!

I love the clothes pins! Such a fabulous idea.
It really are the little things like this that make a party suck you into its own stylishious world.
