'Route 3' Red Car 3rd Birthday Party

What little boy doesn’t love playing with cars? This adorable “ROUTE 3” RED CAR 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Katie Malandrino of Green Apple Paperie. I love how Katie decorated the party from head to toe in red car themed items. I’m sure the 'fast lane' punch and spare tire cookies were a hit. Everything is oh so cute!

Katie said-- “This party was for my son, Luca, who turned three back in September. I went with a simple car theme but wanted to incorporate his age into the theme in a creative way. So the idea of the Route 66 signs came to mind. I used his age inside the route sign for the cake topper, cake pops flags and the cookies as well.

The cookies were done by A Dozen Eggs Bake Shoppe in Vermont. They went above and beyond in creating custom cookies for me. I ordered them right after Vermont got hit with a major storm that caused tremendous flooding and damage around their bakery. I was very impressed that they were able to still send out my order despite the conditions of their area. Great customer service!

I made a table runner to look like a street and placed painted wooden cars on the runner to add some fun to the dessert table. My sister-in-law crafted the birthday cake.”

Grand Prix Ferrari Birthday Party

My next party feature goes to this incredible GRAND PRIX FERRARI 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Georgia Boyd of Munchkin Tables & Hello Naomi. Woah, what a celebration! Any little guy would die for a race car party like this one! A real life car garage, amazing food and sweets, motorized car ferrari’s, cup trophies, and on, and on…what more could you ask for?! Such a cute party. I love everything about it.

My next wonderful party feature goes to this adorable DISNEY PIXAR'S CARS 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY- LIGHTNING MCQUEEN PARTY submitted by Dulce Sobremesa! Now this is a cars party! WOW. I've had many requests for Disney "Cars" party ideas...well, folks, here you have it! Can you believe that cake?! I adore the roads going up the gable boxes. SUCH a cute party. 

Here is what Dulce said about the party- "We´re so happy to share with you today Javier´s third birthday party, inspired by Disney-Pixar’s “Cars” movie. What a fun birthday party! We designed the garlands, labels, little boxes, the cookies, the cake, many other table decorations and even medals for the race winners, all of them handmade by us. Vintage Wheels Quadruplets Birthday Party

My next party feature goes to this superb VINTAGE WHEELS QUADRUPLETS BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Michelle Krol of Our Wonderfilled Life. Michelle has FOUR boys turning the SAME AGE on the SAME DAY!!!! Super exciting and such a big task! Such a darling party. What a great idea, too! Michelle said that her inspiration for the party came from vintage wheels with a retro nod. She chose a special vehicle for each one of her quadruplets, with a special meaning for each one. If they had to pick a vehicle out of a pile, she said, these are the ones they would chose...Aiden- double decker bus, Beckham- train, Liam- race car, Griffin- Trike. SO CUTE. I love how she turned a long rectangular table into a Dining Car. All the burlap, bunting, food, decor, games, etc are so adorable. Excellent job, Michelle! Thanks for your submission. Here is what Michelle said about the party- 

"I recently, officially started up Little Marvels Designs and took the boys' party through my party planning process. The main frame is from Orange Blossom Shop and was literally the jumping off point

for my entire design. The favors were super simple, you can find out more here. I found the vintage No. 2 on ETSY, love it and we used it in their picture. The wagon and suitcase were found at the flea market. It made for a really sweet vignette right next to the dining car. I purchased the cakes from Jewel, made the bunting from left over stickers, bakers twine, stripey straws and cardstock I had. I made a No.2 runner out of burlap, a homemade stencil, and black paint. It worked out so well for the top of the trunk. Milk served in glass bottles, with stripey straws from Think Garnish. Instead of buying expensive bottles, I used the Archer Farms {Target brand} Vanilla Caramel Iced Coffee bottles. The snack cones were from Green Grass Grows, thanks Andrea! Filled with peanut butter pretzels and caramel corn/cheddar Chicago style popcorn combo. These were out when our guests arrived. I found the baskets at Home Goods, spray painted them black, added a bit of bunting. The kids {and adults!} LOVED the mini cupcakes in pushup containers. Matt handmade the holder upcycled from a pallet. More about the push-pops here. I painted a $3.00 Goodwill frame, Matt cut a piece of wood perfect size, which I layered with chalkboard paint to make this sign for our guests. I made the little crayon holders out of mason jars, left over burlap, fabric and twine."
