"I Am Thankful" Thanksgiving Dessert Table

My next party feature goes to this beautiful "I AM THANKFUL FOR" THANKSGIVING DESSERT TABLE submitted by Paula Morrill of Party Like Paula. Such a lovely dessert bar! I love the brown & white with a touch of orange. The patterns are all so fun, too! This whole printable Thanksgiving collection can be purchased FOR ONLY $6 in Paula's shop here!

Even though Thanksgiving is just a few days away there is still time to purchase this collection. All you do is print & cut..and you have it all! A simple way to spice up your Thanksgiving!

Here is what Paula said about the dessert table- "I handmade everything myself from the sweet treats to the decadent decor!  I even made the brown curtains out of a $15 bed sheet from WalMart. Cut down the middle, hem the sides, and VIOLA instant chic drapes! Caramel Apples are a staple for this time of year. I filled a basket with these yummy treats on top of some patterned paper from the new THANKSGIVING COLLECTION.  Sticks take the place of popsicle sticks and a small accent of tied twine on top. How about some caramel corn?  Sweet, sticky, crunchy and oh so easy to make. A sweet drink is always a nice choice for a dessert table.  Apple cider is not only yummy in your tummy, but makes your house smell super UHmazing while you are making it! Molasses cookies are soft and flavorful.  Right out of the oven with some cider screams THANKSGIVING! If you are watching your waistline this season then you have to try Pumpkin Pie Frozen Yogurt.  Served in hollowed out mini pumpkins with a dessert flag makes you feel like you are eating something more decadent than you are!

The patterned paper in my new collection can be wrapped around candles and made into a table runner.  Napkin rings and place cards bring unity to the table through the same brown and white pattern.  Add drink flags to your glasses or party circles for a festive touch.  Remember to lay out the "I Am Thankful For..." cards and have your guests reflect on what they are thankful for this year.  Hang the cards up with the "Give Thanks" banner and you are all set!  Don't forget about the kids this Thanksgiving!  My Printable Thanksgiving Collection includes a Pick Your Pumpkin Game Page, Turkey Coloring Page, Thanksgiving Math Page and 2 Fry Boxes! This Printable Thanksgiving Package includes printable PDF files for:

Rustic Thanksgiving Party

My next party feature goes to this beautiful RUSTIC THANKSGIVING PARTY submitted by Xiomara Roman of A Styled Fete. What a gorgeous take on Thanksgiving! Such a pretty location for a photo shoot. I love the purple and turquoise colors! Amazing job, Xiomara! Thanks for your submission. So happy to share this party this weekend.

Here is what Xiomara said about the party- "A couple of weeks ago I styled a Thanksgiving photoshoot we called “Thankful”. It was full of rich colors, native- inspired details and Fall whimsy. I met with my photographer, Carly Jones at this grassy open field in Hanover, VA which was the perfect setting for the shoot. I used stacked hay bales as a table, earthy elements and textures to create the rustic “feel” I wanted.

The spread for the table included apple cider donuts on sticks, carrot cupcakes, turkey, leaf shaped cheese and tomato "bow and arrows", veggie chips inside mini pumpkin bowls and of course, pumpkin pie. The table was also decorated with a "thankful for..." garland which had tags that said "Life, Family, Health, Love".
The kids table included a white leaf shaped cardstock with coloring pencils as an activity. The wooden utensils were stamped with a "Thank you".

Natural and handmade elements were their inspiration around the “Fall Harvest Design Collection”. Their color scheme revolved around the harvest that they would display on our tables. The colors were tones from artichokes, wheat, bosc pears, green apples, ivory pumpkins, acorns, and pine cones. A backdrop of rusty orange added a bright contrast to these natural tones.
