Milk and Cookies Wedding Shower Party

Photobucket

My next winning party feature goes to this stunning

Milk & Cookies Wedding Shower Party

What a beautiful Party/Wedding Shower!
I just love the country rustic feel.

The centerpieces were a collection of items from Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, thrift stores, antique shops, and things they already owned. For the seating, they went with hay bales to play off the country theme.

They made the napkins with a variety of patterned fabrics and tied heart-shaped cookie cutters around them with twine.

Amazing job, Love & Lavender.
Congratulations on being the winning party feature today!

{Update: Drink Dispensers are from Pottery Barn here.}

For favors they filled milk bottles {from Pottery Barn I believe..however, they are no longer available. BUT, you can find some on eBay! Go here} with layers of ingredients for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies & had them stacked in a lovely wooden crate.

For the guestbook table they made a sign with Josh and Ellen’s “recipe for love” detailing the highlights of how they got together in recipe form. They had cards for guest to write their own “recipes for love” and a recipe fox for them to file it away in!Photobucket

I searched online for a few minutes and found the drink dispensers! They are from Pottery Barn. Go here: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/mason-jar-drink-dispenser/?pkey=call-serveware

Kara,

Love you site! Have any ideas for a classy 21st birthday party? Mine is coming up and I too love cute girly details, but all the 21st party ideas I can find are really cheesy and just plain not cute. I'm looking for something not too childish but still fantastic!

Thank you!

So cute!!! WHat a clever idea. I too would like to know where the milk glass jars came from that they layered the cookie mixes in!

I believe the milk bottles were purchased at Pottery Barn as well. However, they are out of stock and no longer available. BUT..you can buy milk bottles just like them on ebay! Go here: http://compare.ebay.com/search/milk+bottles?_nkw=milk+bottles&_sacat=0&rfn=1

This theme is so wonderful. If my shower party is themed like this, I'd feel like a child who has found her destined angel. My sister will get married next year and I'll be the one who'll handle her wedding. I had started organizing the wedding needs and some of my friends told me to find tent rentals, Bay Area-based. Last week, I went there and it is true that Bay Area tent rentals are good.

What an awesome party idea! Could also work well for a baby shower since the mommy-to-be can't drink. There is a whole series of children's books called "Cookies: Bite Size Life Lessons" by Amy Rosenthal. Each cookie station could have one of these children's books on display.
