Sweet Shoppe Candy Party

I have a lot of exciting things to announce. The first being that Zurchers Party and Wedding Supplies contacted me a few months ago and hired me as their new in-store party designer. It's been a lot of fun! I am now able to show you the first of many parties I'm styling for them. This SWEET SHOPPE CANDY PARTY was a blast to design and execute. I just love all the colors...and SUGAR!

Most everything you see throughout this party is from Zurchers, including the adorable apothecary jars. Often, the right candy can be so hard to find, but with the huge selection at Zurchers you don't have to search and search through hundreds of online shops.

My favorite things about this party-- the ric rac / paper and candy necklace bunting, the milk bottles, the bubble gum machine drink dispenser {took the top off my gumball machine and replaced it with a beverage dispenser}, the various lollipops, the pink sixlets, the paper straws, the funky ribbon on the candy scoops and favor pails, the chocolate dipped candy sticks and the chevron bags. Of course, the rock candy cake is also so fun! It was inspired by this cake from Cocoa and Fig. The amazing Kim Stoegbauer from The Tomkat Studio, also used a similar cake here.

A huge thank you to my party design assistant, Brynne. I couldn't do any of this without the help of you and Amber!

Congrats! This is really amazing! And I am guessing that is sugar in the gum ball machine? I want to plan a 80's party for my hubby for his 30th this year and I am going to check out the candy from Zuchers!

Lovely photos these are. If you are going to organize a birthday party then you must have know about some points. Gather background materials decorations and cover the walls with flat paper, gossamer, or party curtains

This is all so beautiful!!! I've been searching online for a beverage dispenseer that will work, but most don't give dimensions. Do you have any ideas on where to find one? Thanks so much!

I love the fabulous plastic milk bottles. I am trying to order them from the imwithcupcake.com that you linked the straws to. Is that where these milk bottles came from. I am having a hard time getting the order to go through... any suggestions?
