i got these flower pots on orientaltrading.com. they came in white, with an insert that you color {that said, i love you mom, for mothers day}. i took out the inserts and used one as a pattern to make my own strawberry shortcake insert for the kids to color! i took a coloring book and shrunk down a few images to cut and clip :). i then spray painted the inside part of the pot red. they turned out really cute.

OOHHHH!! LOVE IT!! Your cupcakes look AMAZING!! The idea of planting strawberry plants was GENIUS!! The strawberry lemonade in strawberry jam jars?! Filing that one away for future reference for sure! The feather boa's on the pictures? So something I would do! Every last detail was perfect!!
Once again, another fabulous party!! Great job!!
ADORABLE! So cute. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings to you,
Amy
What a fabulous party! I love all of the little details!
Wow! Kara this is amazing. I love your attention to detail. My twin girls would have loved this a couple of years ago as they loved Strawberry Shortcake but I think they might be a little too old for it now, they just turned six! Thanks for sharing with us :)
Beautiful!!!
So cute!!!
Great party!!!
Very very cute party!! So fun!
My niece is turning 5 in August and her mom wants me to do a monkey party, but my niece is insisting on a Strawberry Shortcake party! Who wins?? All I know is they better make a decision SOON! :)
I'm secretly hoping for SS since now I have all these great ideas. :)
Love the strawberry plant favors and all your incredibly cute details! Once again, you did an amazing job Kara!

This is a beautiful party! What a clever idea!
Amazing... as usual!! I want this party for myself:-) I love the strawberry plants and how you had them decorate the pots. Berry Cute!
WOW, this is fantastic! I loved SS when I was younger...kinda still do. =) I'll be linking.
This party was adorable. I must say that changing the insert in the OT planters to SC was perfect and brilliant! Can I ask how many tables you do on a usual basis? I have noticed that you do dessert, favor and drink pretty regularly. My guess is food too, but how many activity stations do you do? I am struggling with this for my daughter's upcoming birthday. Thanks for your brilliant ideas. I too love the Martha Pom Poms and used them twice this last weekend!
I LOVE strawberry Crush in the glass bottles! I have one sitting on my desk in front of me right now.
I just love this party, I did a strawberry shortcake party a while back but, it was nothing compared to this lovely party, thanks for sharing!
OH, my goodness that party looks like sooo much fun and I LOVE strawberry!!
What fabulous ideas. I'm planning a SSC party for my twin girls (about to turn three). What did your invitations look like? So far, everything I have found online is "SSC cheesy". Any suggestions???
where did you find the window clings. I have alot of strawberry shortcake (vintage stuff) and would love to do this for her next party!
This was an amazingly beautiful party!! I love EVERY detail and it is so elegant! Thanks for sharing!
where did you get the window clings?
Wow, what an awesome job you did! Makes me want to switch my two-year old twins b-day party theme to Strawberry Shortcake (now I'm second-guessing my Candyland theme)!
Love this!!!
LOVE it! I am going to borrow a few of these ideas for my daughter's party next month! Where did you find the Window Clings? I would love to do those at the party!

I am planning a joint bday party for my girls turning 1 and 3,both in April (2 days apart!!). I love love love all your ideas! Thanks for sharing!
So. Many. Cute. Ideas. My head is exploding! I'm working on my daughter's 5th birthday party right now, and just love what you did for this party. The lemonade in jam jars - what size jars are those? 32oz?
You have me soo many great ideas. My daughter is turning 3 in march and wants a strawberry shortcake party. I was wondering where you got the pink and red pom poms that are hanging on the tree. Those are great party decorations!
Thank you :). I made them. Search 'how to make Martha pom pom flowers' in google & instructions will come up :).
What wonderful decorations. You did an incredible job. Would you please let me know where you found the templete for the invitation? Thanks.

I LOVE your ideas and I realllly want to use your strawberry shortcake idea but wonder if my daughter's birthday is in december?? what things should I do then since we can't do the plant idea or the lemonade idea since its too summery? any suggestions?
ksuch,
thank you! you could have the kids help you make homemade strawberry jam! there are a lot of jam recipes that are pretty easy. you could get cute jam bottles to put the jam in for them to take home.
Would love to know how you did the invites! Such a precious party! What a blessed little girl :o)
Hi, love everything that you did!! Where did you get th pots that you were plantng in?? That is a great idea!
